Ear, nose & throat doctor

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a good english speaking ENT doctor? Preferably in the old city or on the eastern/northeastern side (along Kaeonawarat road) ?? Thanks for a reply.

I go to Dr. Rat and like him. He is a CMU Professor and has clinics at Sriphat but it is easier to see him at his private clinic. He speaks fluent English.

I recommend getting there at 17:00 or earlier and getting a queue card. I took my son to see him about a month ago and got there at 18:00. There were about 30 patients before us waiting to see him! He has a partner at the clinic - a lady ENT Doctor. I don't know anything about her but she is also very popular and has many, many patients waiting to see her.

Although prices have gone up recently (like everything has in Thailand), the fee for an office visit is still very reasonable. Medications very cheap.

I'd imagine they start getting very busy right about now.

He is also a surgeon.

The eye doctor is his wife and I recommend her.

The queue will be about half hers.

If you got a long wait tell them you're going shopping at Tops and come back.

I saw a young ENT lady Doctor at Rajavej, and based on the fact that it was during weekdays, it sounds like it was Dr. Sopina--she seemed perfectly knowledgeable and professional--sorted my problem out.
