ENT Specialist in Bkk

Featured Replies

Hi,

can someone recommend an ENT specialist in Bkk? I have been suffering from a very dry nose for some months now and unless I apply ointment containing chlorampenicol (antibiotic) the mucosa gets infected and wounds develop. I kind of got used to that ointment.

Greatful for any lead.

Best,

Shakun

I had an arrogant and unfriendly ENT guy at Bumrungrad and thus would avoid that hospital for sure. It was really expensive for poor service.

Same here, ignorant ENT guy at Bumrungrad. Best to avoid completely.

There are a large number of ENTs at Bumrungrad and they are hardly all the same.

Should always take the time to pre-select your doctor, at any hospital. Just walking in and asking for a specific specialty will get you to whomever is the least busy, and that is often for a reason. wink.png

As I've mentioned before, I've found Dr. Pasakorn in the ENT Department at BNH Hospital to be the best ENT specialist among probably 10 different ones I've seen in BKK over the years, including others at Bumrungrad and St. Louis... Though I haven't seen the St. Louis dr. that Sheryl's recommending above.

Dr. Pasakorn Thavornant

When I checked recently, the ENT lineup at Bumrungrad seems to have changed significantly from what it was a few years ago. I saw a couple of drs there some years ago and was very unimpressed. Though there's an ENT dr. there now who, at least on paper, has good qualifications. Be curious to know if anyone here has seen him.

Dr. Prayuth Tunsuriyawong

I've seen Dr Prayuth for a minor ear problem. I found him to be very professional and yes, he has very very good credentials.
