It's an island in the Baltic Sea I think. Chilly place.

But I know what you mean — even one out of three (steel inside the walls, open floor, and glass facade) would be bad news, balancing all three to get reasonbly bad, barely acceptable R figures will be a fun challenge for erm... responsible, seasoned, and scientifically advanced planner.

Yeah, the orange steel framing our govt. Architect used did the trick..the guy was walking the beams and welding with the thinnest extention cord I've seen.. just buy'em some ear plugs! Two guys did the roof framing in a few days, 《small house》. They did plan air conditioning though..

Has anyone run across that "Soho" loft built as a Thai one off project? I might have caught the link on Pantip, here or one of the forums. It eas a diy Thai project. Very nice, clever. Converted shophouse.

I lost the link and went a bit mad looking for it a month or two back.

Anyone?????
