Former Miss Thailand World contestant files charge over 'nipple photo'

If we remember how incensed Madam the Culture Minster gets over anything resembling nipple exposure,

I think this lady is right in getting in front of a potential government attack on her, as if she gave consent to

use the illegal photo. If she is going to police to get the pic removed, no one can use her as a public whipping boy,

for their officially sanctioned paranoid fantasies about sex pictures causing the decay of Thai society.

And it IS illegal under the neo-calvinist Thai laws on nudity, so she is preventing her-own prosecution for the pic.

As to free press.

While "there is no such thing as Bad Press", in the Hollywood concept, she clearly is;

still gorgeous, still getting modelling work, and appears dressed like she is far from starving.

and the 'booby" prize goes too...

the Police and their 'bosum' buddies who will make 'pointed' efforts to remove this indecent display of humanity before it all goes 'tits up'

I agree they should have kept her abreast of the situation, but she is clearly milking it for all it's worth

She has little more than a "tit for tat" legal argument

Fancy flouting your nipples in public, then screaming at some photo taken of ONE.

Had she dressed sexy, BUT covered up her bits no one could have taken a photo of the WART. Note Former --HAS BEEN, running out of funds ??? and not forgetting she was only a contestant. Big shot---she no doubt will be on Thai soap-or opening OTOP shops. Better she gets a job and work for a living, could have too much time on her hands, thinking she is still famous.

Some people ("models") will do anything for some media attention.... where is the nip pic?

Maybe it's not even there.

I wonder how many readers opened this article expecting to see some nipple and ended up being disappointed.

Yes, if she didn't give consent, totally inappropriate.

very appropriate.. A slippery nipple on the rocks before breakfast, if you know the location.

I find that a most inappropriate comment. I accept on face value that she is somewhat upset by this. Why won`t you?

Don't flout it, then complain. would you let your wife openly show her nipple, I think you would be angry with her. She sounds like she is wanting publicity.

Good for you Go get em. Some of you really dont understand but she is right on the money. They have no right to publish the nip if it was not agreed upon from the shoot

"On the money" being the key phrase here....it's all about the money.

Bizzarre. She spends her career flashing her body off to anyone with a camera (and no doubt a few quid to throw her way) and is now in a tantrum because a nipple slipped out....

I think I'll have to go over some of her bikini shots with a fine toothed comb checking for signs of an inappropriate camel toe........

Here's the thing; I don't think the nipple slipped out. She's upset that it's bulge shows through her dress.

But it's all about publicity and compensation, so she's not really upset at all.

I thought all beauty pageants in Thailand were for blokes dressed up as girls.

So if she is actually a he, what is the problem?

I've zoomed in as far as possible but still can't spot the darn thing.

I found the photo on the net.

Her nipple is round and brown.

Any questions?

The way I read it was to take it on face value Why? Because I was surprised to learn sometime ago that porn is illegal in Thailand so Im wondering If she needed to take a stance on this to make her position clear that is in case of legal ramifications.. I dont know and neither do any of you.. Just saying

And by filing charges over this beauty clinic she assures that millions of others get to see her inappropriate "nipple pic", that the beauty clinic will get a lot of pr due her actions. Great!!!

It was all written into the marketing plan... It's brilliant!

I've got half a pot of Nippon paint if that helps and a holy basil brush, more delicate for old rollers.

Indubitably waving her assets will diminish interest and make the young lady invisible which was all she craved. Some of the journalist just want to press it.

Isn't heartening to witness a thorough probe of outstanding issues, with mislaid rice monies,, aircraft, riots, bombs daily in bumkok no government ,mobs roaming the realm, revolting muslims, yabba dealers, jetskimmers, fake romance vendors, illegal casinos, murdered arabs, that our fearless newshounds are keeping abreast of the important points.

The thong remains the same but the mammaries linger on.

Wonder if that incapacitated Aussie guy in Phuket, who had photos taken whilst unconscious and displaying one of his gonads, will sense an equal opportunity here !

If rules were breached regarding the photo, hope this teaches the industry a lesson.

If she gets publicity out of it and does well, then good for her.
If her whole point was just for publicity then good for her too, because she gets a boost in her career and at the same time teaches a valuable lesson to inscupulous agencies that think they can do as they please.

As much as this is inappropriate, I am sure she is quietly over the moon that they used these pictures which gives her a chance to get back in the papers. And no, she has no intention of ever appearing in a cheap soap opera or starting a music career.

Nah. He had no contract that stipulates if he gets blind drunk and behaves like a total <deleted>, that he has to preview all of the photos prior to publication.

I think in fact there must be a <deleted> clause in these kinds of cases. Ie: if one is found to be a total drunken <deleted>, one loses all dignity rights.
