I have been using the SCB in Jungceylon for 8 years and was aways happy with their service

until the manager was recently transfered

What bank do you use and are you happy with their service and interest rates on fixed deposits

and terms of credit card use

Also do you have bank accounts with different banks to keep them on their toes which i am thinking of doing

I use SCB, but I have to say the customer service in that branch is the worst I have ever encountered!

Telephone banking with them is a breeze, but the morons that occupy that branch just irk me to the core.......

Unfortunately he has been shifted to a smaller branch out near the main super

cheap because he would not work on weekends and i do not want to travel to it

Lady who served us last time should not have a job involving customer service

I have been using Krungsri (aka Bank of Ayudhya) for my personal use. I selected them when I moved to Phuket as they had wide spread ATM network here. They have been working quite well, with few hiccups on the way. Nothing major thought.

The service at the bank offices has been great. I must say that being served by a Eva Mendes lookalike does help the overall customer experience.

Not trying to be nosey, but do you have a good level of funds with them?? As it seems otherwise, they are simply not interested...

The last time had to deal with them, I withdrew almost 2 mil, leaving only THB150 to leave the account open. The staff member just shrugged!

One of the accounts i have now with SCB is a investment fund run by Bank of Ayudhya

I only withdrawn money once or twice a month and all the banks seem to have ATMs everywhere now

I am more interested in service, interest and exchange rates etc so i need a branch with a manager

who can give me accurate information

I tried SCB Rawai but they were more interested in looking after themselves not me so i closed the account there

Yes between myself and my wife we have a substancial amount of money in the bank

When not happy with service previously i told the manager i was thinking of changing banks

He asked me not to and promised better service as we were one of his best accounts

There must be a lot of people with more money than me with the monthly living expenses they claimed to spend on this forum
