My ex wife was receiving a good deal of money from OTHER sponsors into her secret bank account. Some how this was picked up by the Thai tax man. One morning to my utter surprise, an investigation team (two blokes and one lady) showed up at our condo in Pattaya. One of the team, a youngish Thai man spoke quite good English. He told me that my wife had used our home in Pattaya as her business address but had stated in her tax return that she was engaged in poultry farming. The Thai bloke told me that the tax office had flagged her return because it seemed odd that farming would be carried out in a 14th floor apartment.

My wife was out playing cards with her friends, so the team sat down with me at our coffee table. The young lad then chatted away with his Thai colleagues for a few moments and then turned to me and asked in slow, loud, and clear English:

"What evidence is there that your wife runs a poultry farm from this condo?"

I made eye contact with each of the tax investigators, and then stared directly back at the young lad and replied:

"My wife has raised more cocks than any other woman in Pattaya."

No it wouldn't, this is an American invention to avoid the use of the word COCK. Same as they no longer cultivate rape seed that has been around for a long long timebut canola. It is obvious that some people will snigger at certain words but we are above that, aren't we?
