I was thinking to reduce the load on my charging system I could swap my 60/55 H4 for an LED H4 bulb.

Is anyone running LED headlight bulb.

Next question sourced locally or...

Had a triple one on my SR for a while but took it off as it did not suit the bike. worked well though.

Man that is one bright ass bulb. Looks great for night driving. Did it piss off other drivers thinking you had the high beams on? I was contemplating getting a single bulb for my Kawi I can see for your bike this light housing would look out of place. Drag was expensive to not be able to use!

i am interested on led light too.

good thing is, you dont need to do any modification on headlight to put a led headlight. They are plug and play - of course it works with a led drive.

found this for 2000 thb but instead of buying it from ebay and pay shipping/tax, i prefer to find a car lightning shop that have brought these already and also let them install it.

One thing I hate about all the bikes I have ridden is the headlight, I upgraded the Phantom I had to a halogen which was huge improvement from seeing naff-all, but still way short of a car/truck.

So I am very interested if it gives a better light.

I can't speak directly to LED type replacements for motorcycle headlights.

I can, however, speak from experience using HID Bi-Xenon replacements.

I replaced my 55 watt Halogen H4 with a 35 watt unit from this company last December: http://www.ddmtuning.com/Product-Categories/Motorcycle-HID-Kits-Lighting.

The results were absolutely stunning. I see and certainly am seen, 300% more light and more efficient than with the Halogen unit.

I absolutely love it. EXTREMELY SATISFIED.

I have only occasionally been flashed by other drivers thinking I had my HI Beams on. Other motorcyclists have stopped me and asked what they are.

The best replacement option I have found at a reasonable cost.

Regards...........

That is what I will try next. I'll let you know what I find. I am not in any real hurry.

I've tried 35W Xenon HID kit on my old Yamaha Mio 110cc, but unfortunately the generator's too weak - it doesn't work at all if you try to power it off the headlight wires, and drains the battery out completely within an hour if you run it directly off the battery terminals.

However, the second best solution was nice and easy: a couple of 10W LEDs bolted in where the stupid basket used to be - there are 3 perfect mounting spots requiring about 30 seconds of work total ;-) They are currently running as high beams. I'd like to find a LED replacement for the original low beam bulb, as well, but so far no luck...

This kind: http://www.ebay.com/itm/111094032202?tfrom=121129460127&tpos=unknow&ttype=price&talgo=origal

Now, has anyone tried to pimp up the headlights on the new Click 125? I had a brief look today and it seems from 25W original bulbs that HID is also unlikely to work, at least without major mods... any other tips?

i am also interested in brighter lights but i would have thought car ones would be too big for a bike

if you find any that fit without too hassle i would take a couple of sets

be careful with cheap led ballasts the can <deleted> up the bikes electrical system due to unstable current and load
