Where to buy good leather furniture

Featured Replies

Specifically, I'm after a large (leather) modular lounge suite. So far, I've only found one place that does them, but I have concerns about that particular business. (Not far from Heroine's, but I'd rather not mention the name in case I'm wrong.) So there must be others - any information would be greatly appreciated. Anywhere in Phuket (only).

Thanks - Ping

I do not know if they carry leather lounge suites but they have a good range of furniture

We bought 2 lazy boy leather rocker recliners from them and they had by far the best prices of the shops we looked in

Central furnture they are on the left side of Chaofa west road heading south from central before the first set of traffic lights

Yes, it is Sentral. We look in there on a regular basis, have a big range of sofas on the upper level, but can't say they carry modular leather seating.

Might be better to have a look in Koncept and affiliates on the bypass just opposite the Phuket International. They carry more expensive furnishing ranges.

Another idea might be talk to Island Furniture and see what they can order for you. Chaofa West past that Sentral going south on right side, just past the 2nd traffic lights.

A nice choice of leather living room furniture can be found near Central - I believe the name of the store is "Sofa" in Central East, 2nd floor across from Homeworks.

For really high end Italian leather sofas by Natuzzi try EuroCreations in the Hafele complex on the bypass road.

Forget to mention Trend Design downstairs underneath Index has some quite good quality leather sofas. Not Natuzzi quality but quite a bit cheaper.

Hi

If you do struggle to find something, its worth going to ''Bangkok'' and getting it shipped here.. its not expensive, and the selection is imense..

Bangkok is the place for Furniture...

I am only guessing at availability but we bought a modular set in Udon made from a (seems to be) synthetic material that is a replica of suede. I had my doubts but it is the best material I have ever seen. Red wine will not stain it. (I know from experience.) just vacuum it once in a while and wipe it with a wet cloth.

Very comfortable.

Probably Alcantara. Commonly used with actual leather in high end car seats.

Doesn't leather go green & furry in the tropics ?

My shoes do.

Tetrad International is a manufacturer of high quality leather sofas and chairs which up until now have only been exported around the world from their factory in Ayutthaya.

These products are now available in Thailand. Have a look at http://www.tetradthailand.com or go to their showroom - details on the website. They definitely make large and small leather sofas and you can by one offs. They deliver countrywide.
