High Pressure PVC Water Guns Still Being Used in Na Klua

PATTAYA-April 18,2014 [PDN]; On Na Klua roads which have been packed with expats arriving to take part in “Wan Lai” in Na Klua reporters were informed that many expats especially foreigners were using high pressure water guns that they had bought from street vendors even though the police have warned vendors and users about these blue PVC water guns many times in the past.

The penalties for selling or using this type of water gun is jail for 6 months or you will be fined 50,000 THB or both

The use of those High Pressure Water Guns is one of the reasons why I don't join the "Fun"

Already 2 days ago when I was near Central I saw foreigners and some locals with these water guns , they were aiming from distance , hitting motorbikes snd baht buses.

I purchased a "High-Pressure" water device from a street vendor.

I asked about the legality.

Are they legal ?

I trusted his knowledge of Thai Law.

Saw several of them along Khao Talo an hour back. Rather fearsome weapons. Two girls on a m/bike were hit (stopped, luckily) and were pushed over. Don't go anywhere near Khao Talo in a car or on a bike atm, it's very dangerous.

Every year the Pattya cops say they are going to confiscate them, which they do, but then sell them before the next years Songkran
