Power of Attorney / selling condo in Jomtien while I'm in Hawaii

Recommended Posts

I want to sell my condo in Jomtien - not too much - less than 1.5 mil baht - seem to have a buyer.

The buyer comes as a result of 3 parties involved - I haven't advertised the condo.

I wonder what could happen after I sign the power of attorney and have it notarized at the Thai Consulate in Honolulu.

I don't have a copy of the tor sor sam ( sp )

I bought from Fair Properties years ago - using power of attorney - so my signature is not on the chanote

I wonder if I'll get paid - or is there a chance something could go wrong.

The Real Estate agent looks to be legit - via website I've seen for 3 years or so .

Anyone have suggestions - maybe I should have a Attorney look in on the transaction ?

Maybe I should just wait until I can be present for any sale ?

Any thoughts appreciated.

I didn't know Fair Properties is out of business - thanks for the info.

Anyone know of a legal firm that could - look in on the transaction.

My good condo caretaker and independent rental agent - bird dogged the transaction - via another agent who then found a buyer via an associate - as I understand it. Good website and all - but no names.

I haven't advertised the condo - I would sell it as I don't need it anymore.

I guess I better look into getting legal advise. I don't mind paying commissions and fees - just don't want to get screwed somehow.

Anyone know of an a firm that could - look in - on a transaction with pattaya-jomtiemproperties.com

I have no idea what to avoid.
