Farang Restaurant on Bypass Rd

Featured Replies

I suspect because of the poor service and food. Was never the same after it moved into the new building behind. Seemed like a new owner and staff. I gave it a try a few times, the lasangna was disgusting and I left most of it vowing never to back. I now eat at that pasta & bake place, bit more expensive but good food. Noticed the Farang place had been cleared out a couple of months ago.

They have one now on Soi Sai Yuan in rawai. The place is always empty when I drive by. I doubt it will be there for long.

The one on the bypass road was a hangout for cops, several were killed there one day in a drive-by-shooting. Place seemed to go downhill after that.

Food was tasty, but portions way too small for me.

I thought that was the owner who was shot and killed in the drive by, the usual Thai business dispute. Never heard that 'several' cops were killed.

I ate there many many times after the owner was killed, bit spookey eating there, but the food and service remained as good as ever.

Correct, the owner got shot at the restaurant..Too bad it closed.

Bit hard to run a restaurant when you're dead.

The only one of these outlets I see working is in Cherngtalay. Everytime I'm by there at least six tables occupied.
