If you are motoring around Wongwian Nimit (Seahorse Circle) tonight BE CAREFUL. There are two electric lines dangling down in the middle of the road at the Southernmost quadrant. This has just been reported to authorities, but I don't know if they will be able to do anything before dark. I don't know if the wires are live or not, but if hit in the wrong way they could pull numerous other wires that are all bundled together overhead, so it is another potential disaster waiting to happen....See attached photo for the location...sorry for the amateurish photoshopping.

It does highlight that all around the island there are cables hanging low between poles & an ugly mess of cables everywhere. The poles not only support electric lines but those for telephone & cable TV. When they break or telephone line is disconnected no effort is made to remove the old cables, just new ones strung up.
