So what has happened to the fire trucks and boats? Have they been sold to a scrap metal dealer?

They are impounded at Chonburi, rusting away.

Actually, there are in Sai Noi in Nonthaburi.

Fuller did a good NYTs article on this case last year, http://www.nytimes.com/2013/10/24/world/asia/left-to-languish-costly-fire-trucks-present-a-reminder-of-thai-dysfunction.html?_r=4&

Another thieving Thai Prime Minister. sad.png

P.M or Governor?

Both. He was the Bangkok Governer and then ran on the PPP party ticket in the election after the military government gave back power to the people.

Promise me you will buck up and do some research at least before posting.

He broke the laws about the PM having a second job which is why he was fired from being the PM.

He could legally have been reinstated but Thaksin chose his brother in law Somchai to be PM instead.

Somchai was responsible for the PPP being disbanded due to electoral fraud.

Another thieving convicted Prime Minister that never spent a day in jail.

What a stupid comment to make.

I suppose it takes all kinds, but a Samak Defender is a rare breed.

.

Similar to Chalerm defenders, very rare indeed. Fabio is one of the few I have seen on this forum who stood up for Dr Earache, but he would, wouldn't he ? whistling.gif

Staggering what lengths some apologists here will go to.
