Can anybody tell me what vaccines are necessary for babies that are born and living here in Thailand?

My son is now 9 months old and has been into a very good western hospital for vaccines which now seems like every month since he was born! I'm sure he has had at least 10 injections now. My friend who has a child the same age in another part of Thailand said that after 6 months his babies vaccinations were finished.

I get the feeling that either;

A) My wife is a typical Thai hypochondriac who thinks that more injections and more medicine is better for the body

B) The hospital is trying to make a profit.

Any advice? or maybe a list of which vaccines are essential?

Cheers.

My son is 2,5 years old and follows the government vaccine program.

He still has some shots to take.

If your wife is Thai, your child is eligible to receive all of this for free at a government hospital or health center. No need to shell out $ at a private hospital
