Why haven't you learned Thai even after several years as an expat in Thailand?
Ask a few Thais who have little contact with farang and aren't rally interested in meeting / mixing wih farang. I suggest you'll find plenty of Thais who respect other folks (all shapes / sizes / nationality / position etc.), however they are very comfortable in their own community. -

What is your go to provider for porting Skype?
I tried an app from the Play Store (Android) Text+. The call from Thailand to the US went through and was clear. It did take a long time to connect. The calls coming in are where the problems occurred. On their side, the call would go to the message box before you had time to answer. It was a bit strange as I could hear them, but the answer button wouldn't work. I could listen to their messages very clearly. I am looking for an app that will give me a dedicated number. I am still looking. -

Report Drunk Foreigner Found Sleeping in Phuket Graveyard After Beach Party
20 years sober now,but for perhaps 35 years that is how you would find me maybe half a dozen times a year. Once while building a bungalow on my own and too many lunchtime bevvies I fell asleep on the scaffold.Woke up to a crowd of people staring and shouting through the hoardings thinking I’d popped my clogs. Alcohol isn’t for everyone but I still miss the crazy days. The bloke was doing the sensible thing by the way. There are some considerate drunks. -

Qdenga vaccine: to have or not to have
On the other hand, the paper also states that the data on risks for seronegative individuals for DENV3 and 4 is limited, precisely because infections with those serotypes is less common. That seems to be true for Thailand also. "In Thailand, DENV-2 and DENV-1 are the most common dengue serotypes, although DENV-3 and DENV-4 also circulate. Studies in Southern Thailand and other regions have shown DENV-2 as a dominant serotype in some years, followed by DENV-1, DENV-3, and DENV-4." Epidemiology and costs of Dengue in Thailand https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9810168/ So it seems as though the risk of getting DENV3 or 4 is lower that for the other two serotypes.
