KittenKong Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 BA changed my return leg for free (should have been GBP100 or thereabouts) but this was agreed and noted before purchase. It was all to do with the return I actually wanted being more than a year in the future at the time of booking, and as such not bookable. In fact I found their telephone ticketing/sales department to be very efficient and helpful.
gerry123 Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 if you mean because of the recent gov/army situation i think all giving is suspended and take away is the norm for now
jaideeguy Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Booking any flights/hotels or other tourist related reservations should either come with a disclaimer stating 'you are buying this product/service in full awareness that LOS means the Land Of Surprises and you takes your chances anywhere in this 3rd world banana republic' 1
BusEng Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 I was ticketed to fly to bkk from Hanoi Friday (day after coup). Qatar Airways refused to waive change fee.

MickGC Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Thai International allowed me to move my next Tuesdays BKK/BNE return flight 11 days ahead for free even though it was a cheap 14 day limited stay ticket. They said because of the coup they were allowing 1 free change of schedule on each ticket, those that normally incur a fee that is.

mikejphuket Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 I'm not having much luck with Nok Air- they are playing very hard to get.

I can understand a monkey or an ape, with bananas involved.
pigletruth Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 There are a lot of weirdos on this forum. Why are you here @ravip if you think Thais are so inferior? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
RabC Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Bangkok Airways are offering free changes or full refunds. 1
beano2274 Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 BA refused, have to pay 180Euros for wifey to return to Munich earlier than planned, sent email to BA see if anything comes of it.
