Looking for sawdust

Featured Replies

I live in Chonburi area and I look for sawdust from rubber trees!

Don't need a truck load so I look for a company / factory where I can go with my truck and fill it with sawdust (it's for cultivating mushrooms)

If somebody knows a place, please let me know either by a reply to this post or by sending me a private message.

Thanks for your help.

I don't have a clue where to find sawdust in Chonburi but I do like your avatar. cheesy.gif.pagespeed.ce.HaOxm9--Zv.gif

find somebody that makes the bags, and ask if he can sell to you a bit, probably they will

Buy a few trees for wood, and hire someone to rip them up. Collect the wood and sawdust.

Thanks for the replies so far:

@emiubon - the guy who makes the bags doesn't want to sell the sawdust, but he told us that he orders truckloads of sawdust (!) from the south - that is too much for us.

@canada - I only need the sawdust, not the wood.

try another, in Ubon was 20.000 for a truckload, but was not a big problem to get a pick up loaded from a guy near us, he sell only the bags,he doesnt grow mushrooms, so he didnt care.

He doesn't want to sell sawdust so I need to look for my own supplier.

the guy told me that other sawdust are also good, usually are a mix, I dont remember from which trees, but yield less mushrooms.

Packdee tong on in the mushroom thread has a link to a company that will send you ready made sacks of mushroom substrate at a reasonable price. Just add the spawn. They'll even supply that.

Regards.

Sawdust is not a problem in my area, enough pallet repair / recycle shops but my missis swears by sawdust from rubber trees, so it will be sawdust from rubber trees.

We also went to Packdee Tong a few weeks ago to have a look, nice guy to talk with.

yes sawdust from Rubber Tree is the best, because is very dry, no resin content, since had been collected for years
