Does anyone know of a website which streams the main thai tv channels so that the other half can watch them while we are abroad?

If you have a smartphone or tablet, you can download Thai TV apps for iOS & Android. I have "Thai TV" for iPhone/iPad. The free service has ads & sometimes the video stream is slow.

I think a number of the Thai TV stations stream from their websites also. When we were away a few months ago, my wife popped into one to check the news. And I think a few of them have their own app for your smart device.

Best one in US is malimartv.com or aseaniptv.com, same site. Its the same site that serves the roku devices. Good for thai, lao, and kmere. Tried alot of others, this is the best for free. Works on apple, android, and pc browsers.

Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

Right. And if you want it for your Roku, you can do everything - hookup, payment of $100 a year - right at these sites.

Good info, we use Malimartv in the middle east, if you are in the USA get a dish and FTA receiver & tune into Galaxy 19 satellite. Several free to air channels there.

Most reliable free one I found was http://www.malimar.tv (as already mentioned) but stopped using as this was hit and miss a few weeks ago when stations were been taken off air and then not working for a few days after they had been restored in Thailand (if wasn't for this I would not of looked elsewhere).

http://www.mydootv.com is what I use now on my PC, this is a paid service and can be used for both live and catchup-tv and cost about £20 for 3 months ($35 90 days) and so far so good. When connecting can chose either US or EU server, can also be used on Roku players and interface looks really polished.

We have been using http://www.mydootv.com for many years now in the U.S.. The volume and variety of movies, TV, news, etc. that is available is well worth the price. You can subscribe for 90 days, 180 days, 12 months, etc. The subscription also gives you full access using an iPhone or iPad and also the Roku box so you can watch everything on you’re TV in the living room. Also 24hr customer support in English and Thai.

Are you mad? Thai soaps here and abroad and crap comedy with stupid background noises

BBBBBbbbbboooooing,, like watching a Bugs Bunny cartoon only without the bugs in it but humans, how childishly and mind numbing can it be.

If the video portion isn't that important, I've got a 20 minute long mp3 of Thai couples arguing, women screaming and Loony Tunes cartoon sound effects I could send you a link to.
