Billy Eilish's "Birds of a Feather" - is it better than anything by the Beatles?
The Pet Shop Boys have done some good tracks. By "techno" crap I meant real techno music like Acid House and all that vile <deleted>e. If there's one music I hate above all it's techno, ie acid house and all that <deleted> that came in the late 80s, early 90s. -

Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
Of course. Just common sense. As a non filer, you'll never be on the TRD radar screen anyway. Sure, they can guess that you receive remittances to live on. But they certainly can't parse those remittances for assessability, as even they understand cost/benefit analyses. No, the chance of ever being called in for a chat about why you didn't file a tax return would seem to be zero. And if you were, what big deal would occur? This was heavily discussed months ago, and I was banned for a week for giving advice to break the law. The cause of that banning no longer participates here. -

Name your favorite newspapers from around the globe. All languages.
When I was flying internationally twice a month, I used to look forward to snatching a free copy of "THE FINANCIAL TIMES" in the lounge or whilst boarding the aircraft. It is consistently one of the most interesting and literate newspapers I have ever read. Though geared to finance, it's coverage of a broad range of topics was always top-tier, especially the coverage of the arts. There was always several hours of good reading to be had. Unfortunately the subscription rate is geared towards the well heeled and out of my range. I do miss it. -

Any benefits in antibiotics
I don't have any views on those paying for women. That's their deal. If they can't find a normal women, not know how to treat one, or prefer prostitutes, there's reasons for this, whatever they may be. I only point out things when some say men who have wives and girlfriends who have local boyfriends and this isn't true for all. A few of course because women cheat worldwide, but assuming many, or most have, is an opinion, and also wrong. When someone backs up what another says, there are reasons for this, as I pointed out. Both seem to think most, if not all, women are whores and useless, except as slaves. This isn't true as most anyone knows. It isn't my opinion that they are wrong but a fact. If a person prefers prostitutes that's again, their deal, and if they have respect for other's women, that's good, but some buy because they like to use, or hate women, which is their problem. Some because they don't want a relationship because they've had problems in their past relationships and only want to get off. Again their deal. -

Billy Eilish's "Birds of a Feather" - is it better than anything by the Beatles?
It's true that Birds of Feather feels "unreal", not genuine, and more like a contrived pretense. Like much of Billiy Eilish's whole persona. However, in essence that is what all "love talk" is really pretense. When someone is really in love it feels more genuine, on account of their delusion being believed by them as well, but you can enjoy the song on the basis that most talk of love is not genuine anyway. it's a fair criticism though, clearly at her age she would not have loved in that way yet, it is an artistic piece after all, not a realistic one. I certainly agree the song feels somehwat unreal, not genuine. She does write her own lyrics though, with her brother Finneas. They're both quite creative and original. I would say her voice is certainly quite pleasant, even if it lacks the distinctiveness of Lennon, Starr and McCartney, who actually were also pretending to be Americans most of their lives. Where she really shines is in the harmonies, the belting, her singing is rather more accomplished and ambitious than Lennon and McCartney, though obviously less intense. Clearly the percussion is produced electronically, and real instruments are always preferable, but in this song the elecronic music is produced well and fits the song perfectly. It's rather the opposite, this song shows that even with modern instrumentalisation you can still produce good music. She does cultivate the creepy vibe a bit, but she was not born a boy, come on...
