Yep - burning is a real pain - it happens every year and it lasts for such a long time, too.

Personally, I think that burning "clean" wood is probably far less harmful than burning recently sprayed wood (mixed with plastic products and whatnot, of course.) - but that's just my opinion. wink.png

Anyway, it's something we have to endure where we live now, so moving to another area wouldn't be much different, I suppose - and you never know, the air could be actually less polluted than here at those certain times of the year! biggrin.png

As for radon - from what little I have so far been able to gather it's more of a problem in the colder climes than in the tropics (because there's more interest there in that sort of thing, perhaps?). whistling.gif

We had one of the common mitsubishi air conditioners.. it has a hepa filter..

Also b.b.c. was telling how to make a small particulate filter..Not much of a fix, huh..
