Hi folks

First time to Issan, and I am staying in Ubon Ratchatani, must say it's beautiful and have been out in the car today driving about saw some beautiful scenery, and met some nice Thai people too.

Also would like to say that most fellow westerners I have came across have been first to speak or give me a smile... So I am impressed...

All the best, tomorrow I go home to Phuket.....

Why leave so quickly? You should have tried to contact Highlander , It would have been a great conversation between the both of you over a wee dram.

Thanks for the reply, I was actually visiting Laos for the first time, hence the reason I ended up here, like I said, nice surprise, nice feel to the place...

I am sure Higlander would drink me under the table... But I would give him a good run for his money..
