Came back on about 9:30 pm

Seems to go out every other day normally but three times a day.. OK so not a blackout from the Myanmar gas field interruptions- just crap lines.

Just came back at 10:45 pm. Dowroong area. Off for almost 3 hours.

No problems near Wat Chalong.

Out again now in Cherng Thalang Thalang. Not sure how long woke up to the silence and lack of AC.

yep, same here. it was out for about 1 hour on friday i think. nothing since then.

Yesterday no power cuts at Ao Por, nice.

I guess the number and length of the powercuts is because we just had the first real storm with high winds during this rain season. Hopefully there will be less cuts as the season progresses.

Lot's of old trees fall down to the power lines around the island almost simultaneously. As there is only limited amount of power company vehicles and personnel, the time to fix is now longer than usual.

Home wide UPS, which would also protect from the brownouts would be nice.

Out last night, Thursday June 20 ( am) No winds in the area, for about 4 hours, 1 - 5 am.

Because I use fans I'd never noticed the machine hum before . It is really low pitched and was keeping me up. I assumed it was from a development nearby but as it was too annoying, and too hot to sleep, got on my scooter to investigate. The development was closed down, it was coming from an area I couldn't get to, behind the Sirinart Forest reserve on the coast , saw flashing too like welding was going on, what's being built there at 4 AM in the morning ?

And again this morning, 7 - 9 AM no storm just off for almost 2 hours.

And again this morning Thursday June 26 for one hour around 8:30 am , last night flicked off but came back on and just now for 5 minutes

No power cuts from the Myanmar gas line repairs, eh ?
