I've never seen it before but today several times already, my browser freezes and I get a poip up saying shockwave flash seems to be busy, do you want to continue or stop the plug in.

I believe from a IT friend of mine that this occur 's when you look at too many infected porn websites

Especially ones with gerbils.

On a serious note, is that an Apple operating system, as it is a common problem.

Windows 7 x64 ultimate with firefox, never experienced this before, but tonight 4 times so far.

On a serious note, infected porn sites does that mean I can get HIV from them ?

Don't know about getting HIV, but one suspects you may end up with friction burns on the palms and possibly a sore " botty" if your into " Gerbil play"

I think she hangs out of, sorry hangs out with Dr Will.

Dr Will Kirby you mean ? Well he's a handsome guy, so I guess she must be a real superstar then.

Not sure if that is Dr Wills surname, Soutpeel may be able to help. Apparently his Gerbil is right into him.

Do you update flash ever?

I would recommend uninstalling it and then downloading and reinstalling it, flash is a target for virii/malware etc...just like java.

uninstall, scan with stuff like spybot. malwarevytes. hitman pro just to be sure, then reinstall from adobe.

Run Ccleaner too to clear your flash cache.

I had that a lot. Win7 64b Firefox, always updated both. My message differed only by saying Flash had crashed rather than busy.

I tried everything I could think of including rolling Firefox back a few versions. No luck. I still don't know what did it, 3 - 4 times a day.

I finally uninstalled FF, rebooted, cleaned the registry with CC, and installed Chrome. Only a couple of occurrences after about 2 weeks.

BTW, Chrome was amazing at importing my FF data. Even the shortcut icons on the bookmarks bar were all there, after just 1 request to import FF data..

Good luck.

Shockwave flash happens when a flasher flashes and sends a shockwave resulting in someone else instantly flashing sending another skockwave and the cycle continues.

Think I solved the problem. This morning the issue was extreme like every 20 minutes.

I recalled that I had installed free dvd converter the other day and went to the add/remove programs, where I discovered that it had installed some software called Relevant Knowledge at the same time.

A google showed me that it works in the background and is classified as spyware. So ran Malwarebytes, which discovered 6 threats including 2 trojans, and uninstalled both programs after that.

Coincidental when I restarted my computer I got a pop up that an update for flash player was available, which I installed.

No problem anymore so far.
