Wireless mouse and keyboard

Featured Replies

So we just got a new TV with internet on it --- called a smart TV

Only issue is with a mired mouse and or keyboard you have to be close to TV to use them

Can someone tell me how far / close to a TV / computer does a wireless mouse or keyboard have to be for it to operate properly?

Also, can I use a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse at the same time? or can I only use one?

Thanks in advance

Thanks CB, that looks great

but do you know how close you need to be to a device for the wireless to still work?

Thanks in advance

Not sure. I sit approx 2.5 metres away. No problem .. I would think easy for 5 metre if uninterrupted view.

I have a logitech MK250 wireless keyboard and mouse, which has the receiver in the usb slot, it works at least 15 meter away in another room.

It was the cheapest one I could find, and it works on wifi frequency

Do "smart TVs" use BlueTooth for wireless? If so, I think the range is a lot less than the standard wireless keyboards/mice used with computers where you plug in a USB receiver/dongle. Or, do those USB receivers/dongles work in smart TVs?
