Anybody else having trouble accessing booking service online with Thai Airways? I have tried several times in the past few days. In the end I went into the Phuket Town office, I asked then and some mumbled excuse about "temporary problems" was given. But it seems it is not temporary.

It doesn't work with the Safari browser I have found. I use Chrome to access it and it seems to work fine.

Just this minute checked with Firefox 30.

Searched a BKK MUC flight and came up to the traveller detail page without a problem.

Doesn't mean much, Just a momentary "test'.

I am quite certain that I saw the "temporary unavailable" one or more times throughout the years.

Hasn't worked properly in years (decades?)! One is lead the site coding was done by a bunch of poorly educated temple monkeys!

I don't have a trusted Travel Agent, and I feel mean when I just want to get prices comparisons without booking.

When using the Thai Royal Orchid site to manage my miles there are always long waits and frequent "Time outs"...very frustrating. Seems their website design followed right along with their old phone service which if anybody remembers was also a nightmare to use...especially their US offices.

I had a similar problem a week ago so paid a small premium to book through kayak.com. Very frustrating.

Just tried BKK CNX, no problem up to traveller details, quickly, selected in seconds.

When does the problem occur? Maybe after entering "Traveller details"?

I have the same problem, cannot load booking page. Tried IE and chrome. Two different computers and a tablet. Reset router, changed DNS and bypassed router with computer all to no avail. The only way I can get booking page is by tablet on 3g. No idea what's wrong.

Oh for that you don't actually need Thai's website...just take whatever the most expensive fare you can find for your flight from another airline and double it; then you'll have Thai's price!

As I said, the Thai Air website has been a joke ever since the internet came into widespread use in Thailand about a decade ago. If you can even get the homepage to load, the site will most likely crash when you actually get to the booking (or worse, the confirmation) page. It's the only airline website that has to open a separate window/tab when you go into their booking engine. It's this site that usually crashes somewhere during the booking process.

I had no problem booking a flight to London a few hours ago on ThaiAirways.com, using Google Chrome.

There are other Thai Airways sites using other top domains. I don't KNOW if they are actually different sites, but their addresses are different. Such as

thaiairways.co.th/en_TH/index.page

Mine works fine in Chrome. However the 'temple monkeys' who administer the site do not. I'd booked online for a 3,500 baht ticket at 3pm, giving me time to pay the following day during the 24 hour grace period. When presenting my booking slip with barcode to a 7/11, I was told my time had expired. Some idiot had set the deadline for payment at 3 AM not PM, thus forcing me to buy a ticket from a travel shop. The price? 5000 THB, a whopping 1,500 difference. Muppets.

And please, don't anyone suggest I should have called their Call Center 'Arai wah?' <deleted>.
