A friend is planning to visit in January and asked me if I know anything about this place but I'd never even heard of it. From their website it looks like they are a professional outfit but I was wondering if anyone out there has first hand or reliable information about it that I can pass on.

I've gone a few times and lost a lot of weight (which I eventually gained back) and really enjoyed the whole experience. I had also gone to their original place in Ko Samui which was cheaper, but not as nice and a lot more of a pain to get there.

I didn't find it boring and I stayed about 2 weeks each time that I went. brought a DVD player with me and they have some sort of English TV. There is massage and steam baths and a bunch of other stuff to do. Also, they have what is probably the best vegetarian restaurant in Chiang Mai - at least they did a few years ago. I brought my bicycle as well as it is nice area to take a ride.
