i was sat at the bar having a beer watching two men play pool last night when someone noticed bits dropping from the ceiling above the end of the pool table

so toy, the boss asks the two men to put the ceiling tile right

they jump on stools sort the tile and the cashier comes out with a broom to sweep up the bits

just as she starts on that theres a crash next to me and a ceiling tile complete with a very scared black and white cat

falls down

now this cat is next to me doing a tom and jerry running at full speed act but going nowhere cos it cant get a grip on the loose crud so it slows down a bit

now it gets a grip and its off like a rocket towards the dart board where it cant get out so then it tries to run underneath the pool table curtain but it doesnt know theres a solid wall of beer boxes right behind the curtain

so it bounces off therm and rolls across the floor into the wall under the tv

the poor thing is terrified and very dazed now and toys shitsu is barking at it so it runs towards the front under some tables and chairs and i can hear it hitting them on the way through and eventually it bolts out of the front

i felt sorry for the cat but i wished id caught the comedy on video

well it was better than watching the crowd of tourists in loi kroh road at 10 35 last friday night

If they keep that up it will bankrupt a number of businesses and end Loi Kroh as a seedy night-life spot. Of course that doesn't mean that seedy night-life will end in Chiang Mai, it will just move somewhere else.
