Out on the cycle this morning so I usually stop at all the building projects to see what's going on.

This site wasn't open but was very surprised to see what I am guessing is an eagle owl.

Quite a size, it was tethered so it wasn't just passing by.

Zoom in above the crash helmet.

Is keeping birds of prey here common, illegal or what, any ideas.

...and if keeping wild life in captivity is illegal, how many locals would give a durn?

How do you know they were keeping it? Was it tethered?

"it was tethered........"

Put your glasses on chicog!

Clicking on that picture does not enlarge it that much. Would have been quicker for you to simply type "yes" or "no".

A vendor had 4 conjures chained to the handle bars of a shopping cart in the sun. Broke my heart. I had to leave my Quaker in US.

looks like a young Brown Wood Owl . . . not uncommon around CM, and this time of a year there's plenty of them around. Once a nest has been found, so easy to steal from too... xangry.png.pagespeed.ic.Cla6z9sEn6.png

Good point Chicog but can you answer the burning question of the day?. If you need glasses how do you find the specsavers sign/shop?

Someone please explain what "conjures" are?

I know Quakers are persons of a certain religion and no doubt rare in Thailand. ;);)

They are pretty birds, but freak'n loud. It was sad to see a little chain around their little legs with just 1/4" movement. I went back and asked him if he'd sell them to me...Nope. Hate to see any animal chained up.
