So the U.S. elected an autocrat -- what to expect next from a Hungarian perspective
I assume you are playing but that is part of the quote from the author of the article. I have visited Hungary as a tourist but that's all. -

Trump and his followers.
Not always. But Trump went to a top business school, Wharton, has the credential, and he belonged to an elite financial circle. He was also a celebrity. Hence Trump is no exception to your generalization. Wrong. Reagan, Carter, Clinton, and Bush (GW) were all folksy types and the first three emphasized the humble beginnings. All had populist appeal. And in the last election, Kamala changed accents to appeal to different audiences (TALKES LIKE THEM) and made a point of proclaiming her regular ol' middle class roots and promised a bunch of free stuff. But WALTZ was chosen specifically as a relatively uneducated, duck huntin', good ol' heartland boy. Beat Trump handily. So the unwashed masses ALSO had their chance to vote for WALTZ - Kamala as well--which shows this point is nonsense as well. Many an ignorant, misinformed, fake news listener did so. But what happened? Policies happened. No, as explained above. Ignorant, illogical, and biased conclusion w/ exaggerated DNC talking point for the gullible such as yourself. Basically, just an excuse for yet another Trump bashing thread for our sore losers to repeat their usual nonsense. -

So the U.S. elected an autocrat -- what to expect next from a Hungarian perspective
Thanks! I was waiting for someone to call me names and hurl slurs. That's usually what comes next from these folks considering they seem to be incapable of actual analytical thinking no less the ability to debate issues. If they don't like you! "You're HITLER." Oh well, I grew up in the era of "Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me." That was back when people graduated from high school with better than a six grade education. Things have gone downhill since then I'm afraid.
