Dancealot Posted January 18, 2015 Author Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) While I prefer #3's composition, the clearer presence of shadows and the strong contrast between highlights and darks make #4 more attractive then #3 . Edited January 18, 2015 by Dancealot

Dancealot Posted March 29, 2015 Author Posted March 29, 2015 (edited) Bangkok's Blade-Runner alley. Where the drinking starts very, very early. [edit] The photo is too dark but that's really how it is in there...^ Edited March 29, 2015 by Dancealot
rhythmworx Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 ^^^ DAL is the soi 5 end bar still called Tunnel Bar? Nice friendly Thais in there years ago, used to play pool for drinks in there and win lose 50/50. I remember a poster or sign of some train system (London I think) on the wall facing it.

Hau Thanon, (AKA the Muslim Village) is one of my favorite places on Samui to wander around with a camera.... some areas are well let's say very untidy, but it all has a charm about it! This new building some how does not "fit it" ...
bundycat Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 When I was in Phuket I visited a Muslim Village where you got on a boat and had a choice of several floating restaurants..Mostly local patrons but now I think they take tour buses there, so it has probably lost some it's charm and increased the prices However the village had a wonderful array of extrmely brightly painted houses. Some with 5 or more colours on the one house!!. Unfortunately no camera at the time. Maybe someone in Phuket knows this place? and has some pictures? cheers
