Suggestions for planning a private health retreat near Phuket?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have a suggestion for a location or a specific resort/hotel in the Phuket area that would be conducive for a private health cleanse and retreat? A few European friends would like to find a place near the sea -- away from the crowds if possible-- where they can spend a week on a green smoothie and raw diet. They are planning to do this in September or October.

They know how to do a cleanse so they don't need or want any assistance or planned program. They just want to find an ideal location. They have a decent budget to spend, between 5K-10K baht per day and they will need two rooms or bungalows.

Any suggestions, recommendations or creative ideas?

Atsumi Healing Center www.atsumihealing.com or Atmanjai www.atmanjai.com both are located in the Rawai area of Phuket

If they want to 'get away from it', but still stay near to Phuket, I suggest Koh Yao Yai, which is easily-reached by ferry from Phuket, yet remains relatively undisturbed by tourism, but does have several spa/retreat resorts.

Try Jindarin Beach Resort on Coconut Island. Unspoilt Phuket, no traffic and only a VERY short boat hop from Phuket Island.

There are a lot of private villa which you can get for that price if they want total private. Would get a nice pool and more. PM me if you want suggestions?
