Depends if they want to off load stock they can't shift or selling...........whistling.gif

But they usually offer something if you persevere. I told them I am also thinking about buying another brand.........w00t.gif ...smile.png

Mitsubishi offered 80,000 baht off, window tint, floor mats, reverse camera and sensors, bug deflector, wind deflectors, this was on the run-out model Triton. Probably could push for more cash off if you really wanted one.

They should offer a free around the world trip on the "QE2"...............laugh.png

Free (No Extra Charge) for: steering wheel, 4 tires and rims, 4 doors, hood and tailgate in matching colors, windscreen, radio, rear view mirror, front bucket seats, a 2nd key, and I bargained hard, but finally got, at no extra charge, the standard 2500 cc motor, oh, and they threw in the turbo also -- great deal, I think.

But, they also threw in at NEC 1st class insurance for 1 year, bed liner, window tint, pearl white color, back-up sensor, side window rain guards, and floor mats (which were crap and have been replaced with good quality mats already), and a discount off the list price.

But as Transam noted, this was on a truck with a new model coming out in the next 6 months, so they are obviously anxious to clear the stock of the current model (why else would they throw in the rear view mirror at no extra charge?! whistling.gif ).

Oh yeah, as well there was free bed liner, insurance and road tax for the first year. I'm still seriously considering buying one, even without a free trip on the QE2.

Back in December got the same extras on my Mitsubishi Triton, with the added bonus of all the doors and lights bling,

plus I got 120,000 baht discount and 1,000 baht worth of diesel

Had it 8 months now and I carn’t fault it….Just recently made a trip to Bangkok (1,400 km round trip) and it never

missed a beat.

I was really impressed with the GPS System especially in Bangkok and the cruise control is a great added bonus also.

Have a Nice Day.

Cheap tacky chrome covered rubbish basically, they put over perfectly good door handles and oem front & rear lights.

Some of that stuff can look OK, but most looks cheap and nasty.

Last August we bought a Toyota pickup and were given a whole bundle of "stuff" - towels, T shirts, kitchen clock, pen-and-pencil set, sports peaked caps etc. etc. and a great fuss was made about this by the salesman telling us how lucky we were - all a bit strange.

One week later my wife received a courtesy call from the Toyota dealer asking if we had had a pleasant buying experience and whether we enjoyed all our free gifts which she listed one-by-one and my wife duly answered in the affirmative...................until the caller mentioned "the Samsung Galaxy 3G tablet device", which, of course, we hadn't received!

Something of an argument ensued and after 2 weeks and a number of irate phone calls from us, a new Samsung Galaxy tablet arrived in the post - no accompanying letter, apology or any other communication..................and the salesman is still working in the same showroom...............no surprise there.

I bought Mazda BT-50 got free tints and 1 yr insurance but never got car Jack or the long metal rod you put through the rear to loosen the chain holding up your spare wheel. I only noticed few months later but waste of time going back to say, they would come up with these are extra sorry. But puch for these cos you may need them.

You sure the jack and spare wheel rod aren't under the back seat. That's where mine are located, but that's an Isuzu. Be very strange not to include those items, unless they removed them for safety purposes (theft) and forgot to put them back.

Mine are as well, and that is on a BT50.

120,000 discount, that sounds like it was a demonstration model. If new you did incredibly well.

They offered me an 80,000 baht cash discount on a new Triton (plus all the extras I mentioned) and that was without any haggling, so 120,000 baht discount on a run-out model (not a demo) doesn't surprise me.
