Lorry Collision on Rama II Road Leaves Four Seriously Injured
Pictures from responders. A crash between two lorries on Rama II Road has left four people seriously injured, including a young couple and a four-year-old child. The incident took place around 08:00 on 10 April in front of a petrol station at kilometre marker 56+600 in Bang Kaew Subdistrict, Mueang District. Police Lieutenant Phaiwan Sriphana of the Mueang Samut Songkhram Police Station responded to the call alongside rescue personnel from the Sawang Benjatham Foundation. At the scene, a lorry with a trailer registered in Ratchaburi was found with its cabin completely detached and mangled beyond recognition, reduced to twisted metal. The driver, 24-year-old Mr Natthaphong was found in critical condition, suffering from a compound fracture to his left leg and multiple injuries across his body. He was reportedly disoriented and unable to recall the incident. Inside the wrecked cabin were his 26-year-old girlfriend, Ms Kannipa and a young boy believed to be around four years old. Both were also critically injured. The child was found with head injuries, abrasions, and pain in his right leg. All three were rushed to Somdet Phra Phutthaloetla Hospital for emergency treatment. Approximately 30 metres from the impact site, an 18-wheel lorry with a tractor unit registered in Bangkok was found tipped onto its side with the rear section lifted from the ground. The driver, 30-year-old Mr Nopparat sustained a laceration to his left wrist. Mr Nopparat stated that he had been travelling from Chonburi to deliver goods to Phetchaburi Province. He had pulled over to the roadside to take a photo to confirm his location with his company. Moments later, his stationary lorry was struck violently from behind. He blacked out briefly from the impact and awoke in a daze before discovering the extent of the crash. Initial investigations suggest that Mr Natthaphong may have momentarily fallen asleep at the wheel, causing him to plough into the rear of the parked 18-wheeler at high speed. Police are reviewing CCTV footage and will conduct further interviews with both drivers and any relevant witnesses to determine the exact cause of the crash. -- 2025-04-11 -

Updates and events in the War in Ukraine 2025
80 million years ago? I didn't think people existed back then, unless they are evolved dinosaurs. Besides, the track probably broke for some other reason than enemy action, given the tankies are unconcerned about enemy fire, they were reversing at the time it fell off, and there is no evidence of damaged track running gear. Please don't tell me that you pronounce the 'T' in "often"... Or, do you?
Thanks for the lesson except America is not a continent. There are of course the continents of North and South America. Plus you gave us an incorrect geography lesson, not a 'geographical lesson.' But keep on trying as English is probably not your native language. 🤣 -

1. a very select few who listen to JS Bach, all the time 2. Seldom do I feel the need to wear clothes. Bedclothes I cannot do without. 100-percent cotton, and no exceptions. 3. What is your budget. If you want very low cost, and reliable, then buy the machine I purchased. It's good for the money.... Price Tag Not Maytag
