There is the Huey Kaew Fitness park near CMU and the Zoo. This YouTube video shows another one but not sure of its location but near Nimmanheiman is mentioned in the comments.

Going north from Chang phuak gate, turn right at the bus station and follow the road down. Left hand side at the roundabout is football field, running track, gym, badminton, aerobics, jogging, bmx, skateboarding, table tennis, basketball, dancing all going on at the same time at the end of the day. If you go there at 18:00 you would think Thais are sport mad but its the lack of parks in the city that causes the concentration of people. First time I went there it was so busy I thought there was a charity run going on but it was a normal day.

Thanks again for the map :)

Also south west corner inside the moat

Walked through it this evening, very nice, they definitely need more parks.

700 stadium I believe has some type of fitness course.. If not many areas spread around the site geared towards various exercise and activities

Will check that out, thanks

One out by the night safari too
left at the roundabout

and another at huay tung tao
just behind the new temple

I'm not far from the Night Safari site so will have a look, thanks.

Poor devils, if they came to the UK they'd be bowled by the number and size of public parks. Regents Park would have them paralytic with joy and Hampstead Heath would finish them off completely!! Not to mention the summer time concerts! Though they'd be quickly be brought down to earth with the cost and availability of parking, cost of eating out and doing anything mildly entertaining!!
