Tourist Visa Restrictions

Featured Replies

Hi i purchaced a 60 day tourist visa from birmingham, can i travel to cambodia or laos on say day 15 and then return on day 20 and still have 40 days visa left.

cheers rdf

Visa is good for one entry up to 60 days. When you return from Camb. get a visa on arrival good for 30 days.

No. Visa/stay ends when you exit Thailand. Assume you are traveling on a UK passport and thus can enter Thailand without visa for a stay of 30 days so I would time your out of country travel so that you return with less than 30 days remaining on your vacation.

Billyboy is right.

You can get a rentry permit and use the remainder of your 60 day, up to the original date!!!

It all depends on the timing.

If you leave on day 15, and and spend 10 days in Laos, the re-entry permit is best.

If you leave on day 50, you are better with the 30days on arrival.
