Maybe this has been done before, but a current catalogue of Bangkok sources would be handy.

I'll start off by commenting that Home Pro seems pretty mediocre to me, but the one at Thai Convention Center MRT (paired with Carfou) is bigger/better than the one at Ploen Chit where we had been buying a lot of stuff. Even so, the tool selection is thin at both.

Of course the dedicated seeker will probably eventually find some local shop.

We have been consistently disappointed in the service and support offered by the usual lighting shops, they all seem to have the same boring eurostyle stuff and they service seems to vary between arrogant and ignorant.

A large electrical emporium would be especially nice.

How about a good steel fabrication shop, for medium sized jobs, stairs and decks?
