VPN or Chrome ext to view Australian Catchup Channels

Currently using Astrill with an AU proxy.  It shows ping test from AU when I do a speed test.  Google returns AU results. When I try to stream from ABC iview it states "stream error" from 7 plus "not available in your location", for 7 it just buffers but never starts.  Please help... Thanks

A number of overseas content providers have techniques to identify known proxy services, and block content when they think that is how you are connecting. I have not been able to connect to the Australian providers you mention with any of the free services I have tried. The symptoms I have seen with those providers are identical to yours. Looks like some Australian providers are particuarly determined to thwart attempts at avoiding their geo-blocking.

 

Maybe someone else can report successful experiences with Australian connections.

UnblockUS reports on their site that iABC is on the list of sites

that it works with, its Canadian dollars 5 p.m. (google it)
