Bag Repair Shops In Chaing Mai

Featured Replies

hello my bag's ripped (along the zip) and i want to get it fixed/sown up before i leave

can anyone please tell me where i can get this down in Chaing Mai??

There is as woman who has a sowing machine on the side of the road between Riverside Condo and Nong Hoi market who repairs zips on bags.

I took a roller bag for scuba dive equipment to Mr. Bag Fix on the Chiang Mai-Hang Dong Road (Hwy 108) near the CM airport and was very pleased with the work they did. The bag has many trips around the world and was showing the wear but the people at the shop replaced all the lost or broken fasteners and replaced the handle on the bag. Total cost was 300 baht which was well worth it. I would give this shop a good recommendation should you need repair of bags or suitcases.

Mr. Bag fix on Hang Dong Road. http://www.mrbagfix.com/

Yes I really recommend this shop especially for suitcases and things that need replacement parts like wheels, locks, etc.

From the OP though it sounds like any lady with a sewing machine might work.. Although if a luggage grade zipper replacement is in order then go to the Mr Bag Fix shop.

yup Mr Bag-Fix is the one but if the door is shut you do need to bang on it as they may be in the back and they do lock the door

After listening to advice on this forum, I took my bag to Mr Bag Fix last year. The repairs fell apart after a few months, despite me telling the bloke to make the stitching super strong.
