BSJ
This accident has similarities to one we discussed several weeks ago. Again the driver with the dash cam had little opportunity to react. If he spotted the car losing control at the corner he had 2 seconds to react at the most. Going right may have been the best option....but we will never know will we! Popular Post Zeegator
It's a great shame that threads such as this one nearly always seem to be hijacked by WarpSpeed dogmatically pontificating his own brilliance. I do give him the benefit of the doubt regarding his excellence in all things automotive but I'm sure most of us don't appreciate his throwing his toys out of the pram and his insistence on having the last word on every subject, which may or may not be correct. Who cares really, I don't think any TV members come here for the very generous, but bombastic, free lessons he thinks he can give effectively just through a TV post, despite the fact that we have no idea who he is and what his actual level of expertise is. As hard as it may be, perhaps his regular outbursts should just be ignored so as not to encourage him and allow him to provide his very lucrative lessons to those in the real world who can put up with him. Popular Post Boycie
Warpspeed i gave you a like for your comments in post #4 at the start of the thread. You took the words right out of my mouth as i was thinking the exact same with the news report. Also you commented "tragic accident" which was also my thoughts and i'm thinking maybe you should have stopped there, because after reading your another posts i was looking for the dislike button.
balo
Tragic accident and if I was the driver I would also end up dead. Not many drivers would react quickly enough and do the right thing when you only have 1 second to think, maybe not even an expert like warpspeed. Popular Post Showbags
To be honest, I do not seek condolences. As stated, he was just a nice guy I knew a little. My concern is he has left several kids behind and they were friends with my kids.....and all because of the way the retards in this country drive....and not just the driving, the driving was the cause, but the incompetence later just added to it...not unexpected in this country, just so typical and unfortunate. Ace of Pop
Retards, thats a wide brush, there are many good Thai Drivers. Personally i wouldn't have posted here if i had a connection with the victims. Thought it would end up with a shutdown.
WarpSpeed
Frankly it still should, wrong sub-forum, little to do with motoring.. Sorry to hear about the children involved at least they weren't in the vehicles and hopefully their mother will recover fully in short order.. Ace of Pop
When one posts, one gets a reaction. Seems its You who does the bleating, once someone posts something you dont like.Motoring Section is not realy for Deaths n Births. It goes from Sadness to the awfull road positioning of the Cam Car.Not Fair IMO.
Mike45
Its a very sad situation when someone dies. My thoughts are with the families. I'm wondering if there is a vehicle sold in Thailand that would have saved the lives of the occupants in the exact same situation? Which is the safest vehicle in Thailand?
