Online gaming using Dtac. Is it Possible?

Featured Replies

I am wondering if its possible to play online games such as League of Legends and Pointblank using thailand's garena client with a DTAC Internet add-on package.

I don't know how much data online gaming uses.

Wanting to buy the Dtac 800baht package with 12GB 3G max speed and then 384kbps when the 12GB is used up. Will that be enough?

Or would getting a Internet/wifi connection be needed in order to play any online game?

3g will not give you always on internet.

there will be times your internet will not sending/receiving any data thus it makes it useless in online gaming.

Been using 3g packages for a long time now for gaming online. The games you mention i only play Pointblank and get no lag with 3g and 384kbps.

I also play Fifa 3 with Garena and the only lag i get is when playing someone from Europe.

I even play Planetside 2 on 3g and 384kbps but sometimes get latency lag in big battles with over 200 players.
