China executes Tiananmen Square attack 'masterminds'
By Katie Hunt, CNN

Hong Kong (CNN) -- China has executed eight people convicted of terrorism, including three for their roles in an attack in Beijing's Tiananmen Square in October, the state-run Xinhua news agency reported, citing local authorities.

Authorities in Xinjiang, an ethnically divided province in China's far west, said that three of those executed "masterminded" a terrorist attack on October 28 when a vehicle drove through security barriers and into a crowd on the square in the capital.

This, in my narrow world view of justice, is the right way to deal with the criminals. Why should any Gov't put an individual in prison for 20 years before killing them or turning them loose to do the same or worse crime again and again. It is obvious that countries have varying sentences for the same crime; depending upon how Slick one's attorney is at plea bargaining, or "If the Glove does not fit you must acquit"., defense

I was hoping the title meant that they Chinese government had finally realized that they had been wrong in killing all those people in Tiananmen Square in June 1989 and were executing the government leaders who ordered the massacre. What a ridiculous dream.

Now... we've come a long way when we see Westerners supporting China's execution of Xinjiang dissidents.

GOOD!

The Chinese don't fiddle about. These scum were found guilty and promptly dispatched!

Wish more Governments had the "Testicular Fortitude: to do the same thing.

Do you, also "support" North Korea? blink.png

Oh the Irony, China in the 1970's supported a terrorist organisation run by Robert Mugabe, and that China will one day eventually salute the dead of this T Square, because they where revolutionaries, they wanted the prosperous China of today.

They where just a little ahead of their time.
