Workers abroad mulling the tough choice to return home

In the past, the country’s brightest have often been driven abroad in pursuit of international-standard education and well-paying jobs they were unable to find in Myanmar.

Yet times are changing, and a host of businesses are seeking to set up and expand in Myanmar. With human resources listed as a common business constraint, though, companies are looking to Myanmar people living abroad to repatriate to the country and fill particularly the difficult-to-staff technical and management positions.
