DTAC-How do I cancel an aircard (dongle) subscription?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I recently upgraded my private phone, rendering my dongle obsolete. Having purchased the dongle at a local DTAC outlet I assumed cancelling would be easy, but the shops (there are 2) referred us (it's in my wife's name) to DTAC callcentre who in turn suggested we can only cancel if we travel to Surratthani from Samui; a full day round trip which is frankly ridiculous.

The callcentre said they'd call my wife back with other options, but unless or until they do this leaves us hanging and with no proof of intent to cancel. I have been with the company for more than a decade and am otherwise happy with their service.

Can anyone please offer a quick fix or some contact details for DTAC Bkk? I tried via their website but all attempts failed.

Thank you:)

Sorry for piggybacking on this topic but how do I get dtac to stop sending me daily messages and other nonsense on my phone?

I used to get plagued by loads of unwanted text messages. I simply called the call centre and told them that if they want to keep me as a customer, put a stop to the advertisements. That was many years ago and I haven't received any spam texts since.

Yes just call the call centre, they are there to help you . Don't be shy.
