For the first time in Burma’s history, competition is heating up to win over tens of millions of customers in a largely untapped mobile phone market.

I heard today that Telenor will launch on the 15th September. I was also told they would charge Ks15/minute for a call to another Telenor phone, all other calls will be Ks25/minute. I was also told that their internet charges would be 'cheaper' than MPT, but no specifics. All of this information was gained by waterboarding a Telenor employee is purely rumour.
