Any condos on mountain side, that looks over the city?

Looking for a quality condo building, a little out of the city, close to nature, maybe on the side of the mountain in the hills that has nice views looking over the city? Would love to check out any condos that suit this desciption, also would like it if the condo had no chance of having the views built out!

The roads are narrow and winding, lots of dogs, and most places now occupied by Uni students.

Isn't that the condo you were looking into earlier that has been in the process of being built for 20 years now. Also possible problems with accesses?

Noticed some advertising yesterday for Green Valley Condo claiming that capital growth will arise from, among other things, the High Speed train Link between Bangkok and China, passing 'nearby'. I can only assume they are short of stronger selling points- or maybe I misunderstand...

they have been hoot.hooting the high speed train for yonks now ,with plenty of other developers, so they a not on their pat malone, on that dubios plug..

their captive audeince (j.m.o) is older retirees who have a great passion for golf,which is right on their doorstep,and g/v offers that

and the centre of c/mai, is a mere approx 15 ks away

Goes to show the desperation they have for dumping the units.

The high speed train to China is not coming any where near Chiang Mai.

They ruled that out but did say possibly one to Chiang Rai.

Are they any where near the hill sides that the OP wanted?

As far as I know, there is nothing on the mountain. As posted above Mountain View / Front condo is the closest you're going to get. They are not under construction. If you get any of the condos in front of it, you may have your view built out, as they are building all over that area now, but in front of Mountain View / Front, it's all green. Get a higher floor (looking at Suthep, not the parking lot) and you look out onto a green canopy of trees. It's quite nice.
