mordaunt-short warranty

Featured Replies

does any one know the warranty for a mordaunt-short carnival 9 amplifier.

the store where i bought it says it is one year.

i found a store in the U.S. who says the warranty is 5year passive(speaker), 3year active components(amplifier).

for s---s and giggles i went to another store in the same chain and asked what the warranty for an onkyo tx-nr616 was and was told 1year. i questioned him about that. i just so happen to have a letter from Onkyo Thailand who states the warranty is "3years" oh for knowing your product. i have emailed MRZ standard the distributor for mordaunt- short but, they have not responded. i have also emailed mordaunt-short company and have not gotten an answer.

any help would be appreciated.

Warranty periods offered are often different in TH than other markets - the only way to know for sure is to contact the distributor, but make sure your retailer is buying from them and not gray importing.

In Thailand warranties don't exist

They certainly do. Reputable manufacturers/distributors honour their warranty as specified in the warranty card. Just think twice before buying a "Samsing" device rather than a "Samsung".

What you dont get much of here (compared to Europe) are warranties provided by the shop. But shops often don't offer much warranty in the US either.
