Bottom 10 in global competitiveness: WEF

Myanmar finished near the bottom of this year’s World Economic Forum global competitiveness report at 134th, ten spots from last place, though noted there is lots of economic potential.

The report surveyed businesspeople in 144 different economies including about 100 businesspeople in Myanmar, asking them to respond to questions related to 12 “pillars of competitiveness” in areas like infrastructure, and health and primary education.
