Good on you coppers!

I wish the coppers did this at all main intersections. Some (Intersections) are worse than others and it can get damn annoying when riding the motorbike, having to slam the anchors on because some a###hole decides he`s entitled to run a red light.

I dont care if they want to kill themselves but get a tad annoyed when they indirectly try and involve me as collateral damage.

However getting back to the OP..... yes well done to the police. I enjoyed watching the police clamping down re the white line (Dont go past this line) at intersections. They were very busy a the Kuang Sing intersection about a month ago. A few local bike riders were issued tickets which was good to see.

Maybe the stop light cameras should be introduced? Would it make any difference? Would people pay the fines anyway?

Can only live in hope!

This is great news. I hope they can hold my hand and tuck me into bed at night as well. Life should be one big airport security line

And THAT is the name of the tune. Some people just don't give a damn about others, and never stop to consider the fact that they are not alone on this planet, that their actions play a big roll in the lives of people they will never meet, never get to know, and probably never hear about.

The other afternoon I saw some young boy zoom down Moon Muang Rd at about a million and six miles per hour (this might be a slight exaggeration,) weaving through traffic, frightening some old woman on a bicycle causing her to fall. The boy didn't hit her. He just scared her so badly she panicked and fell. But by the time she hit the ground, he was half a block ahead and had no idea of the damage he caused. He probably wouldn't give a damn anyway... Fortunately the old lady wasn't injured. She was lucky. Not everyone is so lucky.

Youth of today huh? yes Im waiting for all the readers to harp on that we were all young once. Thats pretty much a given, and although we all probably got up to a bit of mischief in our day Im sure a lot of use were also given a hiding when we got caught.

Either that or our parents/police informed us of the error of our ways. Maybe I was just the lucky one and learnt by my mistakes. Either that or the military 'brainwashed' me till I towed the line! 555

Still, the whole point I suppose of this blog/topic is to say well done to the BiB when they do their job, just a pity that we dont see more of it in an effort to get some of the idiots off the road. I dont expect the same actions would take place if the cops dragged the offender back to his parents house. Seemed to work in my day. Amazing what a kick in the arse did

PlanetX, would you like them to eliminate traffic lights, stop signs, and other things that impinge upon your libertarian fantasies?

I mean, why have them if compliance is optional?

Please try to grow up and accept the social contract so no one has to hold your hand and tuck you in.

I did not say anything about eliminating stop lights and stop signs. Using these parroted political labels you hear on Faux News and CNN makes you sound retarded.

Wow, what's this, another police hater? Actually, it is great news the police are enforcing traffic laws. I hope red light cameras are introduced in Thailand, to put an end to the idiots that continue to run red lights.

Wow, you dislike Fox and CNN News too? Liberals tend to have distain towards the police, until someone is breaking into their home or beating them up. Every time I see someone refer to Fox News as "Faux News," it sounds retarded too. Personally, I look forward to the day the Thai government wakes up and professionalize their police. I would like to see the Thai police enforcing traffic laws daily.

These days that is often the police.

But I'm a librul and I like to see the police actually doing their jobs. I hope some day the Thai police get the pay, training, and screening to become credible.
