Anybody know what happened to Star World on Samui Cable?

I live in Big Buddha and it's gone since a couple of weeks, replaced by some crappy channel of which I have plenty already.

A1 is gone too.

This happens every once in a while, hopefully they will either get the channels back or replace them with ones just as good. Without them it is not really worth having.

UBC bought the exclusive Thai rights to Star World, so you can't watch it without shelling out a load of cash.

Yeah, that really sucks...

A crappy movie channel, A1, Star World, a boring BBC World, a totally useless Fox News, a worthless Euro Sport - that what they got on Samui Cable.

Was barely worth the money before and now when A1 and Star World is gone...

Was at UBC a couple of weeks ago, and they have lowered the price from 15k to 11k, which also includes a year for free of their "Bronze Program".

They also told me that if you wanna 'upgrade' to Silver, Gold or Platinum - they will deduct the cost of the Bronze program.

Sounds good to me - will most probably get it, since Pre-season of NFL is on soon !!!
