Collecting visa

I am going to apply to apply for a thai visa this week from London. I need a 60 day tourist visa and I have read they are ready to collect the day after... However if I can't make it back to London that day or I can't get someone to collect the next day can I collect when Iam ready?

Why not apply by mail? Or if you go there to apply personally, leave stamped addressed envelope with them to mail the passport back to you.

I could do actually I just don't trust my passport to get lost so thought I would go up and collect it

You should be a able to pick it a few days late.

When you apply tell them when you want to pick it up and they will most likely accommodate you.

Arrives special delivery turnround about 2/4 days in all.

The parking ticket /clamping /tow away in Queens gate should put anyone off

It's a short walk from South Kensington tube station though- easy.
